Meet our Executives.
Frank Bozich joined SI Group on May 28, 2013 as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining SI Group, Frank held several executive management positions at BASF. During his seven-year tenure at the company, he served as President of BASF's Catalysts Division; Group Vice President of Precious and Base Metal Services; and Group Vice President of the Integration Management Office.
Previously, Frank was Group Vice President, Enterprise Technologies and Ventures at Engelhard Corporation, which was acquired by BASF in 2006. He has also held leadership positions at Rohm and Haas, now a wholly owned subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company; Croda Adhesives, Inc.; and Apex Adhesives, which he founded in 1986.
Frank holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago, as well as a master's degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois. Frank serves as a member of the Ellis Medicine Board of Trustees and also on the Board of Directors for Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OGE Energy Corporation).
Rick Barlow joined SI Group in 1994 as the Manager of Budgeting and Financial Analysis. In 1997, he became the International Controller followed by Vice President, Global Controller in 2003. In his current role, he is responsible for global accounting, treasury, and tax. Rick also serves as the Corporate Secretary for SI Group, Inc. and Schenectady International Group, Inc.
Prior to joining SI Group, Rick worked for KPMG Peat Marwick. He graduated from Clarkson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance.
Stephen Haller joined SI Group in 2003 as Managing Director of the company’s Swiss subsidiary, and has since held several senior leadership positions within the company including Vice President for Europe and Middle East, were he successfully led the integration and restructuring of the company’s European business. In his previous role serving as Senior Vice President, Strategy and New Business Development, Stephen refined the company’s focus on growth markets through acquisitions, marketing initiatives, and the building of an innovation pipeline.
Prior to joining SI Group, Stephen held several executive positions with Ciba Geigy and Ciba Specialty Chemicals where he was responsible for the global electrical materials business. His 14-year tenure also included Division President for Polymers and Composites in Australasia, as well as responsibilities in marketing, controlling, and strategic planning. He also served as Managing Director for Vantico GmbH in Germany, a private equity sponsored company prior to its acquisition by Huntsman.
Stephen holds a master's degree in engineering and business administration from the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland.
Philip Ingham joined SI Group in 1992 as the Operations Manager in Durban, South Africa. Following this role, Philip served as the Managing Director of SI Group South Africa and was actively involved in numerous projects aimed at growing SI Group's presence in the Asia region. In 2011, he took on the responsibility of coordinating EHS activities for the Asia region. In 2013, he assumed the role of Vice President of Europe, Middle East, and Africa before assuming his current role in 2017.
Before joining SI Group, Philip worked for Tongaat-Hulett Sugar in various positions. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Natal in Durban, South Africa. Philip also holds a Bachelor of Commerce honorary degree from the University of South Africa.
Paul Tilley joined SI Group in 1993 as a plant engineer at the Freeport, Texas facility. After serving in several roles in engineering and maintenance, he accepted a four-year assignment in England as the Managing Director of SI Group-UK, Ltd. Upon returning to the U.S. in 2003, he assumed the role of the Vice President of Chemical Division before moving on to serve as the Senior Vice President for SI Group, overseeing strategy, global engineering, and EHS. Additionally, Paul oversaw the organization’s North America operations and global key accounts from 2013 through to assuming his current role in 2017.
Prior to joining SI Group, he worked in several operations management roles for Cargill Inc. Paul graduated from the University of Louisiana Lafayette with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Chris Cornille joined SI Group in 2010 as Director of Sales for North America and took on additional responsibilities for commercial excellence in 2013. In 2014, he moved into the role of Executive Director for New Business Development, where he was responsible for identifying and leading opportunities for acquisitions and other corporate partnerships. Assuming his current role in 2015, Chris is charged with optimizing SI Group's global supply chain capabilities to maximize efficiencies and streamline systems.
Prior to joining SI Group, Chris spent over 20 years at Cabot Corporation, where he held several executive positions such as Global Commercial Director for Rubber Products, Managing Director of Indonesia, and North America Sales Director of Specialty Products.
In 2013, Chris was appointed as an advisory board member for Monolith Materials, a start-up chemical company based in California. He is a member of the International Executive Resource Group and holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Benedictine University in Illinois.
Emmanuel Hess joined SI Group in 1999 as the Managing Director of SI Group-Bethune SAS, later becoming the General Manager of the Phenolic Resin Division for Europe. He became Vice President of the Asia Pacific Region in 2008 and continues to serve in this role.
Prior to SI Group, Emmanuel spent five years with ARCHEMA and 12 years with CFPI in roles ranging from plant management to President of the Fine Chemical Division and the Specialty Chemical Division simultaneously.
Emmanuel received his chemical engineering degree from ENSCS and moved on to obtain his MBA from OSU. He later completed the Advanced Management Program from the Wharton School of Business.
Brooke Manrique joined SI Group in 2013 as Public Relations and Marketing Communications Manager, and since that time has held several leadership roles within the organization. During her most recent position as Senior Director, Global Talent Development, Brand & Communications, she led the company’s global talent and leadership development strategy, including employee engagement initiatives, talent development, succession planning, and early career programs. In 2015, Brooke directed SI Group’s global brand transformation, an 18-month project that impacted customers in over 90 countries and facilities on five continents.
Prior to joining SI Group, Brooke held leadership roles in a variety of industries including telecommunications, financial, education, non-profit, and public affairs. Her nearly 20-year career encompasses a diverse range of functions including human resources, communications, strategic marketing, and strategy development.
Brooke earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations and Russian area studies from American University in Washington D.C., and an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
Tom Masterson joined SI Group in 2006 as the company’s first in-house attorney. Since that time, he has successfully led the development of the company’s legal department into a global function, achieving the title of General Counsel in 2011.
In his current role, Tom is responsible for the global legal affairs of the company, as well as regulatory affairs and corporate governance of environmental, health, and safety. Tom has spent most of his career as company counsel to multinational corporations in the petrochemicals and natural resources industries. He has extensive international experience, including five years residence in Tokyo, coupled with a working knowledge of the Japanese language.
Prior to joining SI Group, Tom served as counsel to Mitsubishi Corporation in Tokyo, as well as General Electric's former Plastics business. Tom began his legal career in Texas as an associate in the corporate department of the law firm Baker & Botts LLP.
Tom graduated cum laude from Cornell Law School and he is a member of the State Bars of New York and Texas.
Andreas Missy joined SI Group in 2010 as the Director of Finance for Europe, Middle East, and Africa. In this role, Andreas co-led a global management reporting and analysis project and was a key contributor for several high-profile business projects, including the integration of business assets from SI Group’s largest acquisition into the European, Middle East, and Africa markets. In addition, Andreas was responsible for human resources efforts throughout Europe, Middle East, and Africa, which included the implementation of a new organizational structure and the formalization of human resources protocol for the region.
Before joining the company, Andreas spent nearly 20 years in the chemical industry, holding numerous positions at Ciba Specialty Chemicals. Andreas holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany.
João Paulo Porto began his career with SI Group as a trainee in several departments before commencing sales management for the Foundry Division in 1987. By 1998, he was leading the purchasing and human resources functions and the Resins for Coatings Business Division. Shortly thereafter, he assumed the role of General Manager of Brazilian Operations. After the acquisition of Crios Resinas Sintéticas S.A. by SI Group in 2000, João Paulo led the purchasing and sales functions and in 2002, he took over as President of SI Group-Crios Resinas Ltd. In 2008 he became the Vice President of the South America region.
João Paulo Porto studied economics at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado University in Brazil, and graduated with a master's degree in business administration from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing.
